Since 1964, Cruzada del Evangelio de Honduras, AKA - Gospel Crusade of Honduras, has been working to meet the medical needs of the Honduran people. The American counterpart, which was set up to allow for tax deductible donations, is called Serving Others in Love or SOIL Ministries.  Our mission endeavors have grown into a mission field of approximately 200 churches, with over 20,000 people looking to us for spiritual guidance, counseling and other types of humanitarian help.

Our emergency medical fund attempts to meet immediate needs such as: medical emergencies, dental and surgical emergencies, or even burying a pastor. We also provide widows care for our minister’s wives. After all, the ministry doesn’t stop when we lose a Pastor or Director. Most of the time their widows continue the ministry, but without the incomes their husbands provided.

While the medical needs of Honduras can feel overwhelming, we look at each medical need as an opportunity to show the love of Jesus while they see us serving others in love.  It is our goal to establish a fund that we can draw from to help these precious people in their times of need? We are also working to bring Medical Mission teams to Honduras.  Thank you in advance for your consideration, funds, and prayers. You can stay informed about all our projects on Facebook and/or our website.  Soilministries.org.

Some of our ongoing medical needs are people with diabetes, childhood asthma, dengue fever, and malaria.

One of our recent successes was the removal of a baseball sized cancerous lesion that was attached to the eye of a nine year-old girl. When we join together, we  can share these great burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)
